2. Is vSeeBox legal?
Yes, vSeeBox is legal in the U.S. There have been concerns about the legality of Android TV boxes because they use features originally designed for mobile devices. However, vSeeBox itself is completely legal to use and purchase.
That said, streaming content without the proper subscription or authorization is illegal. If you plan to stream paid digital channels, ensure you have the necessary subscription to avoid any legal issues.
3. Where can I use vSeeBox?
You can use vSeeBox anywhere in the world, making it perfect for home use, travel, and road trips. However, it currently does not support service in China.
4. What do I need to use vSeeBox?
To use vSeeBox, you need:
A stable internet speed of at least 15 Mbps (Ethernet is recommended for the best streaming experience)
A TV or monitor with an HDMI port
A Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection
5. Do I need a VPN to use vSeeBox?
No, a VPN is not required to use vSeeBox. However, if you frequently use third-party apps or need to change your location for accessing certain services (e.g., Netflix in different regions), we recommend using a VPN.
6. Can I install my own apps on vSeeBox?
Yes! vSeeBox is fully compatible with the Google Android TV system, allowing you to download apps directly from the Google Play Store for the best performance.
For third-party apps not available on the Play Store, you can visit the Market section on the Home Page, where we have included some popular third-party apps for easy download and installation.
7. What internet speed do I need for vSeeBox?
For a smooth streaming experience, we recommend:
- A minimum 15 Mbps internet speed
- Using a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi for better stability and faster performance
You can also adjust the picture quality from high to low depending on your internet speed. For the best high-quality streaming experience, a 15 Mbps connection is recommended to avoid buffering.
8. What type of TF card can I use, and what is the maximum storage?
You can insert a TF (microSD) card to expand your storage. vSeeBox supports FAT format storage cards in the following sizes: 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
However, note that apps must be installed on the device itself and should be in APK format for installation.
